Can't take my eyes off

A Quiet Resolve Toward Freedom
This work does not depict someone merely gazing at a distant freedom. Instead, it captures a heart moved by that freedom—quietly yet firmly holding the resolve to one day make it their own.
An eye that cannot look away. I painted the moment when seeing becomes a promise — to face the world honestly and begin again. Gold gathers in the iris like first light: even after difficult seasons, the gaze can open, brighten, and choose hope.
